Training for special educators on the basics of behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provides foundational knowledge on understanding and managing student behavior. Educators learn key ABA principles such as antecedent management, positive reinforcement and teaching replacement behaviors. The training focuses on identifying and analyzing behavior patterns, implementing behavior intervention plans, and applying evidence-based strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging ones in educational settings. Target Audience: related service providers, administrators and paraprofessionals. Outcomes: The outcomes of training for special educators on the basics of behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) include: enhanced behavior management skills through positive reinforcement; improved student outcomes; individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs); Data-Driven Practices; and increased consistency of plan implementation
